Terms of Service


These Terms of Service govern the use of muemo (hereinafter referred to as “the Service”), an emotion-based diary application.

Article 1 (Purpose)

The purpose of these terms is to define the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of users and the service provider when using the Service.

Article 2 (Conclusion of Agreement)

  • By agreeing to these terms and creating an account, the user enters into a service agreement with the provider.

Article 3 (Service Description)

muemo provides the following features:

  • Emotion selection and diary writing
  • Adding photos, music, and location information
  • Calendar and timeline-based diary browsing
  • Emotion analytics and visual summaries
  • Shareable diary image generation

Article 4 (User Obligations)

  • Users must not use false or stolen personal information.
  • Users must not reproduce, store, or distribute any content from the service without permission.
  • Users must not engage in abnormal or malicious usage that may harm the service system.

Article 5 (Provider Rights and Obligations)

  • The provider strives to deliver a stable and secure service.
  • The provider complies with all legal obligations related to data protection.

Article 6 (Service Changes and Termination)

  • The service or specific features may be changed or terminated with prior notice.

Article 7 (Intellectual Property)

  • Users retain the copyright to diary entries they create.
  • However, users agree that content may be stored on the app’s servers to support app functionality.

Article 8 (Disclaimer)

  • The provider is not responsible for the accuracy or reliability of user-entered information.
  • The provider is not liable for service interruptions due to force majeure or technical issues within legal limits.

Article 9 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

  • These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
  • Any disputes arising in connection with the service shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts located in the provider’s principal place of business.
